International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Francesco La Camera, will participate in the 25th Multi-sector International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat”, which will take place on 24–25 May in Ashgabat under the theme “Architecture. Innovation. Sustainable Development.”

The participation of the head of one of the world’s leading international energy organisations highlights the growing international importance of the forum and the increasing global interest in Turkmenistan’s sustainable urban development agenda.

The forum will bring together representatives of international organisations, financial institutions, diplomatic missions and leading international companies specialising in construction, energy, engineering and advanced technologies.

A major highlight of the programme will be the high-level roundtable “From Global Dialogue to Local Action: Advancing Sustainable, Inclusive and Smart Cities,” organised with the participation of representatives of the UN system and international organisations.

Special attention during the forum will also be devoted to future energy systems, digital infrastructure, low-carbon technologies and smart urban solutions.

More than 450 delegates from 45 countries have already registered for the event, confirming the growing international significance of White City Ashgabat as a platform for dialogue, innovation and international cooperation.
