Yesterday in Ashgabat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al-Hay Hamad Khamis Al-Hameli.

The parties discussed current issues and prospects for cooperation and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the areas of education and environmental safety.

The importance of expanding partnership in implementing joint initiatives aimed at environmental protection and sustainable development was emphasized.

During the talks, the parties also discussed joint events planned for the current year, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
