Students from 9 countries take part in the International Relations Competition in Ashgabat

The III international competition "International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue," organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, has kicked off in Turkmenistan, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Representatives from nine countries are participating in the event: Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the United Kingdom, and Iran. More than 40 international participants from 13 leading universities, as well as 117 students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan, have registered to participate.

During the competition, participants emphasized the key role of international efforts in strengthening peace and stability. Among the priorities identified was leveraging the potential of political and diplomatic mechanisms and the authority of the UN to develop mutually acceptable solutions and ensure global peace.

At the competition, it was noted that Turkmenistan places great importance on developing cooperation in politics, economics, energy, food security, and the environment. The country's foreign policy, based on its status of permanent neutrality, is aimed at strengthening global peace and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the cultural program, competition participants visited the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, where they viewed unique exhibits and displays reflecting the country's history and achievements.
