British singer Dua Lipa has filed a lawsuit against South Korean tech giant Samsung, demanding 15 million USD in compensation.

According to the lawsuit, the company used the artist's photos in advertising materials promoting a line of televisions without her knowledge or consent. The singer only learned of the unauthorized use of her images after the products had gone on sale.

In addition to copyright infringement, the lawsuit claims that such use of the photographs could have misled consumers about a possible collaboration between the singer and Samsung. The plaintiff claims no agreement was reached between Dua Lipa and the company.
