From May 1 to 10, Turkmen experts participated in the creative forum "International Black Sea Theatre Festival. State Theatres – Trabzon-26," organized by the General Directorate of State Theatres of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye in Trabzon.

As part of an international expert group, Turkmen specialists assessed the quality of theatrical productions, participated in discussions, master classes, and exchanges of experience between actors and directors, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The Trabzon International Theatre Festival is renowned as one of the world's most prestigious arts festivals. It is held annually, and this year marks its 26th year.

The festival featured 15 theatrical productions by companies from various countries, seven puppet shows for children, three exhibitions, eight exhibitions of film and stage costumes, and two conferences featuring theatre professionals.

Forum participants were shown videos describing the content of plays and circus performances staged in Turkmenistan's theaters and circuses, as well as the prestigious victories of Turkmen artists at international festivals. Videos were also shown about the facilities created at the A. Gulmammedov State Drama Theater in Arkadag.

Within the framework of the International Theatre Festival, the Turkmen delegation held meetings on cooperation issues with representatives of the General Directorate of State Theatres of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as with theatre directors.

For their active participation in the creative forum, Turkmen specialists were awarded the festival cup and letters of gratitude for their contribution to the development of international relations in the field of theatrical arts, the source notes.
