Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree establishing a State Commission for the Organized Conduct of the 2026 Grain Harvest. The document also establishes the commission's composition, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

According to the resolution, the commission is tasked with ensuring the timely and safe harvest of the wheat crop, its uninterrupted transportation to warehouses and elevators, and prompt payments to grain producers.

These measures are aimed at strengthening the country's economic potential, increasing wheat production, and ensuring Turkmenistan's food security.
