Turkmenistan and Pakistan's leading bank, HabibMetro, are establishing cooperation

On April 29, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad held a meeting with a delegation from HabibMetro Bank, led by Fatima Zehra, Head of Foreign Relations.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the financial and banking sectors, according to the Turkmen Embassy's website.

Particular attention was paid to establishing direct correspondent banking relationships, improving financial mechanisms, and supporting joint projects.

The parties expressed their intention to intensify cooperation between the two countries' financial institutions. This is expected to contribute to a more favorable business environment and attract greater investment.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their confidence in the further development of constructive dialogue and agreed to maintain regular contacts to advance specific areas of cooperation.

HabibMetro Bank is one of the oldest commercial banks in Pakistan and a leading financial institution in the country since 1947.
