The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Moldova held a number of meetings

On April 28, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Moldova (with residence in Kyiv) Toyly Atayev held a number of meetings during his working visit to Chisinau.

He met with Petru Burduja, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkmenistan, in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The two sides discussed specific plans to deepen cooperation, including organizing mutual visits at the parliamentary level and expanding contacts between relevant committees. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, issues related to the legal framework of bilateral relations were discussed. The parties agreed to organize meetings on a reciprocal basis to expand cooperation at the parliamentary level.

During a meeting with Serghei Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, opportunities for increasing trade turnover and intensifying business contacts between Turkmenistan and Moldova were discussed. The Turkmen diplomat provided detailed information on the country's economic potential and ongoing projects, and invited Moldovan partners to actively participate in exhibitions and fairs held in Turkmenistan.

The Moldovan side expressed a sincere interest in developing cooperation in energy, the chemical industry, and other priority sectors, as well as in participating in business events, the source noted.
