The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies operating in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev and Minister of Communications Hajymyrat Hudaygulyev participated in the talks.

During the meetings, prospects for expanding Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in high technology were discussed. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects, including the creation of research centers in artificial intelligence, the implementation of Internet of Things solutions and "smart city" concepts, and the development of neural network and quantum technologies.

Minister Hudaygulyev emphasized that artificial intelligence is a strategic priority for Turkmenistan at the infrastructure level and is viewed as a key tool for improving the efficiency of public administration, as well as for developing medicine, education, and other sectors of the economy. He stated that the combination of China's advanced experience and Turkmenistan's strategic development directions opens up broad opportunities for partnership.

Negotiations were held with representatives of Huawei Technologies Co., LTD, FE ZTE INVESTMENT LLC, Shanghai DTSpace Futech Auto Tech Co., Xinjiang Poplar Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation.
