Yesterday, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with China's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Ji Shuming.
The two sides discussed issues related to the practical implementation of agreements reached at the state and government levels between March and April of this year, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
In particular, priorities for bilateral partnership were identified in the gas industry, transport and logistics, and mineral fertilizer production. In this regard, an exchange of views took place on the forms and content of upcoming joint work aimed at implementing projects in these areas.
At the same time, the high importance of cooperation in areas such as education, science, and medicine was noted.
The parties agreed to continue political and diplomatic dialogue on the implementation of the instructions of the leadership of both countries on a regular and systematic basis.
