Today, the Turkmen-Chinese Exhibition officially opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

During the opening ceremony, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's address to the exhibition participants was read. The head of state emphasized that China is a major trade and economic partner for Turkmenistan. Priority areas of cooperation include the oil and gas industry, transport and logistics, digital technologies, telecommunications, science and education, and tourism.

"I firmly believe that such large-scale events will provide a positive impetus to deepening and expanding the dialogue and trade and economic partnership between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China," the President noted.

Businesses from China and Turkmenistan showcased their products and services at the exhibition. Chinese companies participating included NUCTECH, HUAWEI, LOVOL, SHANTUI, JINFENGYUAN SEED, KAIQUAN, and others.

The official distributor of the Chinese automobile brand Geely presented three models for 2025: the Geely Emgrand and Geely Preface sedans, as well as the flagship Geely Monjaro crossover.

The Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum opens tomorrow, with participants discussing a new stage in relations between the two friendly countries, the development of economic and trade cooperation, joint projects, and prospects.

The event's packed program also includes visits to Ashgabat's landmarks for Chinese participants.

The forum will run until April 30.
