Syyahatchy has integrated direct ticket sales for Belarusian carrier Belavia into its TurkmenTourist app—a first for any domestic digital platform. Now passengers can purchase tickets for both Belavia and Turkmenistan Airlines, the national airline, without leaving the same app.
Payment terms vary depending on the carrier. Turkmenistan Airlines tickets are purchased in manat using the Altyn Asyr card, while Belavia flights can be paid exclusively in US dollars using international Visa and Mastercard cards issued by Rysgal and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan. According to the developers, merging the two carriers onto a single platform aims to fill a long-standing gap in the market: previously, online purchases of Belavia tickets through local services were unavailable.
The updated app was unveiled at the Turkmen Travel 2026 international exhibition in Ashgabat, where the Syyahatchy team presented the product to partners and potential users.
In addition to air tickets, TurkmenTourist offers hotel reservations, domestic and international tours, visa support, and medical tourism. The app is available for download on Google Play and the App Store.
