Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN held a meeting with UNDP leadership

Ambassador Vepa Hajiyev, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations, held a protocol meeting with Ivana Zivkovic, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, Assistant Administrator of UNDP, and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to strengthening and modernizing bilateral cooperation. Specifically, they touched on expanding collaboration in sustainable development, digital transformation, and the implementation of Turkmenistan's national priorities in partnership with UNDP.

As a reminder, we previously reported that on March 6, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree appointing Vepa Hajiyev as the country's permanent representative to the UN in New York.
