The closing ceremony of the III International Mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren, which took place in Ashgabat from April 9 to 12, was held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

Turkmen schoolchildren won a total of 29 medals at the Olympiad: 6 gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

58 students from Turkmenistan and 112 students from 10 countries, including Russia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, China, Belarus, Türkiye, Iran, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan, competed in this large-scale international competition.

Students from Turkmenistan took first place in terms of the number of medals collected.

Students from Uzbekistan took second place with 16 medals.

Participants from Tajikistan placed third in the Olympiad, winning 15 medals.

In a celebratory atmosphere, the winners were presented with their well-deserved medals and diplomas, as well as copies of the book by the President of Turkmenistan, "Youth – Support of the Motherland."
