Today, the opening ceremony of the 5V International Internet Olympiad in English among students took place at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.

The competition's single digital platform brings together hundreds of talented students, selected from registered participants from 32 countries, representing 48 leading universities.

Professors, teachers, and students from prestigious research and educational centers in the United Kingdom, the Russian Federation, and Indonesia joined the ceremony via video link.

As emphasized in the presentations, this Olympiad not only serves as a platform for assessing students' language proficiency but also opens up new opportunities for fostering scientific and educational ties between higher education institutions around the world. Over the course of two days, participants will demonstrate their intellectual abilities by competing in English language theory and practice.

The event was given a special solemnity by the performance of young talents from the “Altyn Miras” University Cultural Center.
