The new play "Söýgi duralgasy" ("Stop of Love") will soon be shown on the stage of the Nurmuhammed Andalib Dashoguz velayat State Musical and Drama Theater, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
The play by renowned Turkmen playwright Ashir Mamiliev has been repeatedly staged in various theaters across the country. The Dashoguz theater company, considering it extremely relevant, decided to present its own creative interpretation.
This is the story of a married couple who, at one point in their lives, find themselves literally at a standstill in their relationship. The theater believes that the theme of crisis and the rebirth of feelings, preserving the family hearth, is especially important for young families.
The production was directed by Meretdurdy Seidov, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan. The lead roles are played by the theater's leading actors, Dovran Bekdurdyyev and Maral Jambylova.
The laconic cube-shaped sets, carefully crafted mise-en-scènes, and expressive musical accompaniment are designed to help the audience focus on the characters' inner experiences.
Along with this, the theater will also premiere the play "Seýis," which we've already written about.
