On the weekend, when citizens traditionally travel to Turkmenistan's scenic natural areas for recreation, the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan issued an official statement reminding residents of mandatory fire safety regulations.

The agency urges citizens and responsible officials to promptly clear areas of weeds, plough protective strips around gardens and plantings, and ensure that tree branches do not come into contact with overhead power lines. If necessary, such branches should be trimmed.

Particular attention is paid to equipment used in field conditions: all vehicles and machinery must be equipped with working spark arrestors, and their technical condition must be constantly monitored.

Open fires, smoking, throwing away unextinguished matches, and using any spark-producing devices are strictly prohibited in the country's natural zones. Leaving glass containers, broken glass, trash, and oily rags behind, as these could cause a fire, is also prohibited.

In addition, the fire service reminds everyone to avoid leaving children unattended in recreation areas, driving vehicles on grassy areas, and performing vehicle maintenance directly in natural areas.

Compliance with these requirements will help preserve the country's natural environment and ensure the safety of citizens during holidays.
