The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held the first stage of subject Olympiads among 12th-grade students of secondary schools across the country.

A large-scale intellectual competition in the history of Turkmenistan, mathematics, and the Turkmen and English languages is timed to coincide with International Education Day, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The Olympiad brings together approximately 800 schoolchildren from across the country.

The results of the first round will be announced soon on the institute's official website.

The students who demonstrate the best results will qualify for the second and final round, which will take place on April 27.

The awards ceremony will be held at the institute on May 8 as part of the Open Day for prospective students, the source noted.
