A delegation from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care plans to visit the Republic of Belarus. This was announced by Stanislav Chepurnoy, the Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan, in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Foundation's fifth anniversary.

During the visit, the delegation will visit the Belarusian Children's Fund and the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities, and also hold talks on promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

According to the diplomat, humanitarian contacts between the two countries have noticeably intensified recently. In 2025, Lyudmila Kondrashova, Chair of the Board of the Belarusian Children's Fund, participated in two international conferences in Turkmenistan. The Belarusian side donated a special developmental complex for children and a sample of children's orthopedic shoes to the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadag. In July of that year, Ambassador Chepurny met with the Foundation's Vice President for Treatment, Oguljahan Atabayeva, to discuss prospects for collaboration in the treatment, rehabilitation, and socialization of children.
