On the first Sunday of April, festive events dedicated to the opening of the season took place in all regions of the country.

In the western region of Turkmenistan, celebrations took place at the Balkan Equestrian Center, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age." Musical performances and rousing dance troupes added a special touch to the event.

Forty racehorses from the velayat's districts and cities took part in the first round of the season.

The competition included five races over distances ranging from 1200 to 1800 meters for horses aged three, four, and older.

The winners were presented with special prizes at a ceremony.

Within the framework of the celebration, an exhibition of decorative and applied arts, including works by young sculptors and artists, was held.
