The first meeting of the Central Asia-Afghanistan Consultative Dialogue took place in Kabul. The Turkmen delegation was led by Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan, Hoja Ovezov, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a joint assessment of opportunities and challenges in bilateral and regional relations, expanding economic and transit cooperation, and developing a comprehensive roadmap for regional integration.

Addressing the meeting participants, Ovezov detailed the practical steps the Turkmen side is taking to facilitate the restoration of the Afghan economy.

Following the meeting, the participants in the dialogue expressed support for its continuation and expressed interest in close cooperation in implementing joint projects related to the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the country's integration into the global system, the statement noted.
