The Turkmenistan U17 national team will play its first match of the 2026 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) U17 Championship group stage against its counterpart from Tajikistan. The match will take place in Tashkent on April 6 at 17:00.
Five national youth teams are participating in the tournament. The competition is held in a single round-robin format, with the winner determined by the highest number of points. All tournament matches are broadcast live on the official CAFA YouTube channel.

Tajikistan won the 2025 CAFA Championship, defeating hosts Uzbekistan 4-3 in the final.
