The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine organized a series of sports and intellectual events as part of "Health Week," dedicated to World Health Day, celebrated on April 7.

Turkmen students and members of the diaspora living in Ukraine participated in the events. Over the course of the week, a mini-football tournament, a track and field race along one of Kyiv's tourist routes, weightlifting and arm wrestling competitions, as well as chess and checkers tournaments were held.

During the events, diplomatic staff from the embassy reminded participants that Turkmenistan actively cooperates with the WHO and the UN in the field of medical diplomacy, and also occupies a leading position in the WHO European Region in combating tobacco smoking.
