On the first Sunday of April, the spring horse racing season opened in the Lebap velayat.

The opening ceremony took place in a modern equestrian center, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The festive program began with vibrant performances by regional artists, setting a festive tone for the event.

The spectators' attention then turned to the racetrack, where in the first race at a distance of 1200 meters among horses aged four years and older, the bay horse Galmaz, ridden by jockey Mukhiddin Kulyev, won, showing a result of 25,7 seconds.

In the second 1400-meter race, Parasatly, representing the Lebap velayat Police Department, won convincingly, finishing in 1 minute 35,9 seconds.

In the next race over the same distance, the bay Gojadag, owned by the Lebap velayat hakimlik, won, riding jockey Aydogdy Rovshanov, finishing in 1 minute 37,4 seconds.

The sports festival concluded with a formal awards ceremony for the winners.
