The international race "Wings of Friendship: EU x Turkmenistan" will take place in the capital of Turkmenistan, marking Europe Day. The event is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, and the Ashgabat city administration, with the support of the Run-Rush social movement.

The race will take place on April 11, 2026, in Independence Park. The start is scheduled for 8:00. Participants will be offered 2, 5, and 10 km distances, as well as an inclusive distance for everyone. Prizes will be awarded to the winners; sports activities are available for participants of all ages.

The event is open to experienced runners and anyone looking for an active morning with friends and family. Children under 16 are only allowed to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Registration will take place offline on April 7 and 8 from 16:00 to 20:00 at two locations: Hiroo Ashgabat (9th microdistrict) and the pet store at 150 Magtymguly Avenue. You must bring an identity document.
