On April 2–3, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, held a series of meetings with Georgian officials to discuss prospects for developing bilateral relations in several key areas.
On April 2, a meeting was held with Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Khvtisiashvili. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in the political, economic, transport, and energy sectors, and reviewed documents related to the legal framework for bilateral cooperation. The role of bilateral visits in deepening the strategic partnership was emphasized.
On April 3, the Ambassador met with the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, M. Sarjveladze, at the I. Kutateladze Pharmacochemical Institute.
The meeting was also attended by Tbilisi State University Rector Irina Natroshvili and the Institute's Director Marina Getia. The discussion focused on cooperation in pharmaceuticals, medical research, and phytotherapy. Following the meeting, the ambassador toured the institute's equipment and research activities.
