The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, Nurlan Nogayev, met with the Minister of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, Ovezgeldi Goshjanov, the Kazakh Embassy in Turkmenistan reported.

During the talks, the parties discussed cooperation within the framework of the Regional Environmental Meeting 2026 (REM-2026), as well as the current regional environmental agenda.

Particular attention was paid to coordinating the two countries' approaches, exchanging experiences, and developing joint initiatives aimed at sustainable development and strengthening regional cooperation.
