The Turkmenistan para-powerlifting team has traveled to Thailand to participate in the Bangkok 2026 Para Powerlifting Asia-Oceania Open Championships, which will be held in Bangkok from April 7 to 12.

This tournament is a key international competition and is a mandatory qualifying event for:

• 2026 Asian Paralympic Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan;

• 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, USA.

The team will compete under the auspices of the National Paralympic Committee of Turkmenistan.
