The Russian research and production company “EKRA” intends to establish supplies of energy equipment to Turkmenistan. The company's regional director, Sergei Batrakov, announced this to journalists during the "Cooperation and Development" exhibition in Ashgabat.
"We want to start collaborating and supplying equipment. The equipment is reliable, high-quality, and we have excellent technical support," he said.
According to Batrakov, the company is based in Cheboksary and specializes in the production and development of relay protection and automation systems, emergency control systems, and variable-frequency drives. The company has been operating in the market for 35 years and has all the necessary documents and permits to supply equipment to nuclear power plants.
The director named Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, India, and Bangladesh among current sales markets. He also noted that the company's equipment is used at Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) facilities, where drive technology is used to control compressors and engines.
Participation in the Ashgabat exhibition marked “EKRA's” debut. "This is our first time here. We came to see the country and determine who we could work with," explained Batrakov, expressing confidence in the demand for the company's products in the Turkmen market.
