Turkmenistan hosted a competition for music school graduates called "Young Talents"

The annual competition "Young Talents" ("Ýaş zehin") among graduates of the country's music schools, organized by the Ministry of Culture, was held in Turkmenistan.

According to Turkmenistan: Golden Age, approximately 140 young musicians from all regions of the country participated in the competition in the following categories: piano, strings, percussion, brass, and national instruments, bagshy, vocals, and choreography.

Participants from Ashgabat and the Ahal velayat performed in person, while those from more remote regions submitted video recordings of their performances to the jury.

The contestants' skills were assessed by leading teachers from the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory and the Special Music Boarding School at the conservatory.

Following the competition, the largest number of awards went to current graduates of Ashgabat Children's Music School No. 1. Among them were Shirin Jumayeva, winner in the vocal category, pianist Tylla Shirova, and violinist Aida Mammedova.

The creative review concluded with a gala concert featuring the winners.
