All 48 teams participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup were determined following the final qualifying matches that concluded on Wednesday. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

For the first time in history, the national teams of Uzbekistan, Jordan, Cape Verde, and Curaçao qualified for the World Cup.
The Turkmenistan national team failed to qualify for the tournament. In the second round of qualifying, the Turkmen footballers finished third in their group, behind Iran and Uzbekistan. Hong Kong finished fourth in their group.
