Fourteen teachers of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages received international TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificates from the Cambridge Testing Center following three months of online training in modern methods of teaching English.
The training took place from January to March 2025 within the framework of the Accelerated English Language Teaching in Central Asia (AELLCA) project, supported by the British Council and Nottingham Trent University.
In-depth training of Turkmen teachers was conducted by specialists from the British University Steve Sharp and Dr. Sam Barclay. TKT is a set of modular pedagogical certificates that test knowledge in various areas of English language teaching, and is an internationally recognized standard in this field.
