On July 15 of this year, a group of students and teachers from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas was sent on a study tour to the Technological University of Malaysia, owned by Petronas, to undergo training and improve their qualifications. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
According to the visit plan, classes will be held for Turkmen representatives in specialized areas dedicated to the development of new technologies, the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in production. They will also get acquainted with the organization of training at the PETRONAS Technological University, its laboratories, training centers, research activities and production facilities of the company.
The educational and industrial practice, designed for 2 weeks of training and 1 week of advanced training, is carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024 between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and Petronas.
