In Turkmenistan, relevant work is being carried out to regulate and license the activities of non-state higher education institutions.
In particular, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in accordance with the State Classifier of Types of Economic Activity, consider it appropriate to include in the relevant list such areas as “Higher professional education” and “Professional education after higher education”.
Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov reported this at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, presenting a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having approved the proposal to license professional educational institutions of non-state ownership, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
