An international forum aimed at attracting foreign investment to the economy of Turkmenistan will be held in Kuala Lumpur on April 23-24, TDH reports.
As Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported at a government meeting, about 300 delegates from 30 countries have already registered to participate in the event.
Preparations for the forum are ongoing, and meetings of members of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of foreign companies interested in establishing cooperation are also planned.
Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard a report on preparations for the event, emphasized the importance of coordinated and effective development of all sectors of the country’s economy. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to ensure a high organizational level for the international forum.
