Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship Oguljahan Atabayeva held a meeting with the Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas.
As reported by TDH, the meeting was held within the framework of the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children”, dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the founding of the Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
During the talks, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan is not only a fraternal country for the Republic of Turkey, but also one of its closest partners. The parties noted the importance of historical, cultural and national identity, as well as common views and goals in the political, economic and social spheres.
Thanks to the targeted policy of the leaders of both countries, Turkmenistan and Turkey have become strategic partners, and bilateral relations have acquired an exemplary character.
Minister Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas especially noted the importance of holding the conference in the year declared by the UN General Assembly, on the initiative of Turkmenistan, as the International Year of Peace and Trust. She highly appreciated the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation in the field of health protection and ensuring a prosperous future for children.
Following the meeting, representatives of both sides expressed confidence in the further strengthening of Turkmen-Turkish relations and exchanged best wishes.
