Chemen Vekilova, an English teacher at the International University for Humanities and Development, visited the city of Norwich (United Kingdom) as part of a delegation of teachers from Central Asia.

This trip was organised as part of the British Council's AELLCA programme to improve qualifications, exchange experience and gain in-depth knowledge of the English language and culture.

One of the key points of the program was a visit to Nile (Norfolk International Language Experience), a well-known language school that actively cooperates with the AELLCA program. At Nile, teachers from Central Asia took part in a series of intensive seminars and master classes aimed at familiarizing them with the structure of education in England.

Teachers from Central Asia also had the unique opportunity to observe English and other subjects during their visits to local schools in Norwich. This allowed them to study British teaching methods, approaches to organizing the educational process and methods of working with students, which became a valuable experience.

During the meetings with British colleagues, various aspects of educational practice were discussed, including the inclusion of technology in the educational process, diversity of teaching methods and inclusion, Turkmenportal was told at the International University of Humanities and Development.
