India intends to actively participate in all celebrations and events within the framework of the «International Year of Peace and Trust». This was stated by the Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat.
«At the initiative of Turkmenistan, the United Nations adopted a resolution declaring 2025 the «International Year of Peace and Trust». India actively supported this initiative, as it is fully consistent with our state policy and ideals. We welcome this decision of the UN and intend to take an active part in all events related to the implementation of this resolution, since India shares the principles of peace and trust,» the ambassador noted.
