1. Festive celebrations to celebrate the New Year 2025 were held throughout Turkmenistan. 3. In his New Year's address to the nation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the continuation of targeted measures to provide economic incentives to field workers. "In the outgoing year, state purchase prices for cotton and wheat grown on our generous land were increased. Tireless farmers brilliantly fulfilled their contractual obligations, delivering to the state more than 1 million 400 thousand tons of selected grain: the high harvest of grain is the wealth of our native people and sovereign Fatherland, a source of abundance and prosperity. In the future, we intend to continue targeted measures to provide economic incentives to field workers and strengthen the material and technical base of the industry," the head of state said.
4. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received New Year's greetings from leaders of various countries. Foreign colleagues expressed their best wishes to the President of Turkmenistan and noted the importance of strengthening friendly and strategic relations between their countries and Turkmenistan.
5. National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation. The interlocutors exchanged heartfelt congratulations, wishing the peoples of the two countries peace, well-being and further prosperity in 2025. 6. Early in the morning of January 1, 2025, a boy weighing 4 kilograms 100 grams and 54 cm tall was born to the family of Orazjahan and Yazmergen Atageldyev from the city of Arkadag. The baby, who was named Parahat, became the first newborn in Turkmenistan in the new year.

7. Türkmen Owazy TV channel, created on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, celebrated 16 years since the start of broadcasting.

10. The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the List of exhibitions, fairs, conferences and festivals scheduled to be held by ministries and departments in 2025, as well as the composition of the organizational commission for their holding. The ministries and departments are instructed to ensure that the relevant events are held at a high organizational level.
