An attraction for true extreme sports enthusiasts has appeared in a Chinese province – the “Heavenly Staircase” on Mount Qixing. This 168-meter-long route is located at an altitude of almost 1500 meters, “MIR 24” reports.
The ladder, installed between the rocks, has a slope of more than 50 degrees, which makes the climb a real test for the spirit and body. For the safety of tourists, eight reliable cable fastenings are provided at the top and bottom of the structure - each of them can withstand more than eight tons.
Conquering the “Heavenly Staircase” requires special equipment and a certain level of physical fitness. The structure sways slightly, and gusts of wind add extreme to the already exciting route. 278 steps literally lead to the sky, giving tourists the opportunity to experience indescribable emotions at a dizzying height.
