The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has presented an updated ranking of the world's national teams. Argentina remains in first place, followed by France and Spain.
The Turkmenistan national team moved up one position compared to the previous version of the rating and took 143rd place.
It should be noted that among the football teams of the Central Asian countries, the team of Uzbekistan (58) is the highest in the rating, followed by Kyrgyzstan (107), Tajikistan (104), Kazakhstan (110).
Mergen Orazov's team played their last official matches in June as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the national teams of Uzbekistan (1:3) and Hong Kong (0:0).
