The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex” was held on November 6 at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov using the digital system.
The conference was attended by representatives of relevant scientific and educational institutions and higher education institutions of Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Belarus, TDH reports.
A wide range of Issues related to the exchange of experience in agriculture were discussed during the forum.
During the conference, it was emphasized that environmental well-being is the most important condition for ensuring food security and food abundance.
Turkmenistan was one of the first to adapt the Sustainable Development Goals at the national level and is actively involved in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
Supporting targeted international efforts, Turkmenistan advocates for the development of balanced solutions to problems in this area for the future. A clear confirmation of this is the development of effective cooperation between the country and the UN.
The International conference then continued its work in the sections “Agronomy, horticulture and ecology”, “Economics and management in the agro-industrial complex, humanities, mathematical sciences, agricultural engineering”, “Food industry, innovative technologies in water management, animal husbandry and veterinary science, light industry”.
