1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, who arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit to participate in a meeting of the co-chairs of the Turkmen-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. During the meeting, an interested exchange of views took place on priority aspects of bilateral cooperation.

4. Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has announced plans to meet with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. In his message to the Turkmen leader, Ishiba expressed hope for strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
5. The volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by 58% in the first 7 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. According to him, the positive dynamics of trade between the two countries continues, which indicates strengthening economic ties and mutually beneficial cooperation. Overchuk also emphasized that for further growth, a draft program of economic cooperation between the governments of Russia and Turkmenistan for 2025-2027 has been developed, which is in the final stage of approval.
6. A series of seminars for school teachers and university professors on French language teaching methods has been completed at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. These courses, initiated by the country's Higher Language School, were held within the framework of a series of planned training programs that also include Chinese, English and Russian languages.
