1. Today, Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Turkmen people on their professional holiday. In his address, the head of state noted the country's significant achievements in the field of healthcare, emphasizing the importance of modernizing the medical infrastructure and introducing modern treatment methods.
2. On the eve of the holiday, the grand opening of the International Health and Rehabilitation Center and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology was held in Ashgabat. At the same time, a modern enterprise for the production of a medicinal product from licorice root was put into operation in the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat. Speaking at the opening ceremony, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the health of citizens is the wealth of an independent state.
3. On Wednesday, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the “Çalık Holding” Group of Companies, Ahmet Çalık. During the meeting, they discussed Turkmenistan's achievements in various sectors, especially in national healthcare, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
4. Today, the 6th Vienna Ball will be held in the city of Arkadag, on the occasion of which the Mayor and Governor of Vienna Michael Ludwig addressed its participants. In his message, Ludwig noted that Vienna, as the Music Capital of the World, is the birthplace of outstanding composers. In 2024, more than 35 Vienna Balls will be held in different countries, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of the splendor and spirit of Vienna. The Mayor of Vienna wished all the organizers of the international balls success, and the guests - unforgettable evenings filled with fun and joy. “Everyone to the waltz!” - Ludwig concluded his address.
5. A monument to the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai Kunanbayev was unveiled in Ashgabat today. The opening ceremony took place in the capital's Lachin Park with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit. The event was attended by members of the Government, honorary elders, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, including representatives of culture and the media. During the opening ceremony, the National Leader of the Turkmen people presented the head of Kazakhstan with a jubilee medal of Turkmenistan in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.

7. A student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports and candidate for master of sports Amanmuhammet Hommadov won the main tournament of the Turkmenistan Chess Federation Cup. Having scored 9,5 points out of 11 possible, Hommadov also increased his Elo rating to 2290 points, approaching the title of FIDE master. In September 2024, Hommadov, as part of the national team, won category “B” gold medals at the 45th World Chess Olympiad in Hungary.
