Today, a telephone conversation was held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The Russian President cordially congratulated his Turkmen counterpart on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being and success in his state activities, TDH reports.
Vladimir Putin also noted the significant contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthening bilateral cooperation and conveyed warm words of greeting to him. In response, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for the congratulations and emphasized the importance of a strategic partnership with the Russian Federation based on the principles of friendship and mutual understanding.
Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin confirmed their readiness for further multilateral cooperation and expressed confidence in the further development of Turkmen-Russian relations. At the end of the conversation, the interlocutors wished each other health and success, and the peoples of Turkmenistan and Russia – well-being and prosperity.
