A Canadian company has developed pants with a built-in exoskeleton equipped with powerful motors. This invention significantly increases leg strength and creates a feeling of lightness when walking, writes Mail.ru.

The new product, called MO/GO (from English mountain goat), is made to order. The frame is made of carbon fiber, and motors are located in the knee area, powered by a battery on the belt. Interestingly, the battery is recharged automatically when descending from high places.

The sensor system transmits information to the AI module, which adjusts the level of support in real time, taking into account the terrain and the user’s gait.

The developers note that the pants are designed for people with insufficient endurance for long walks. When fully charged, the device can work for about three hours during an ascent.

Despite weighing three kilograms, the invention allows you to feel 13.6 kg lighter when walking and increases leg strength by 40%.

MO/GO is expected to go on sale in 2025 for around $5 000 USD.
