On August 16, a meeting between the Consul General of Turkmenistan M. Ovezov and the leadership of the Association of International Road Carriers of Turkey (UND) was held in Istanbul. Representatives of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan were also present at the meeting, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
The parties discussed innovative approaches to the development of transport and logistics, including the use of digital technologies to improve transport infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and UND.
The meeting participants emphasized the importance of sustainable transport links on a global scale and noted the significance of Turkmenistan’s international initiatives in this area.
Both sides expressed confidence in the prospects for increasing transit volumes in the region, especially in light of the large-scale modernization of Turkmenistan’s international transport networks.
