1. The first meeting of the energy ministers of the Central Asian states took place in Astana. Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting by Ambassador Batyr Rejepov. Initially, the object was considered the remains of a medieval caravanserai, but recent finds refute this hypothesis. New data indicates that the object under study was probably the main mosque or an important administrative building of the capital of the Horezmshah state. Work at the site continues. Scientists plan to conduct further research to clarify the purpose and dating of the unique structure.
