1. On August 1, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, together with members of the country’s government, went on a month-long vacation. The country's leadership is allowed to spend a vacation in Avaza, Archman, Yylysuv or other sanatoriums of Turkmenistan until September 1.
2. Russian schoolchildren who took first places in the International Mathematical Olympiad, held in the city of Arkadag, came to Turkmenistan to vacation in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone. Talented youth from a friendly country were warmly welcomed. The children's vacation will take place at the “Dayanch” health center from August 1 to 10. The vouchers for them were provided at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
3. In Turkmenistan, this year the volume of watermelon exports has increased 10 times compared to the total export volume for the whole of 2022 and 9 times compared to the total export volume of melons for 2023. The importing countries of Turkmen watermelons this year were Russia and Qatar. Russia and Kazakhstan are also among the main importing countries of Turkmen melons.
4. The transport and logistics center of Turkmenistan successfully organized the first shipment of a container train from India to Uzbekistan. A train of 20 containers with ceramic tiles left the port of Bandar Abbas and is heading to the Chukursay railway station in Uzbekistan through the Sarahs border crossing.
5. On August 1, traditional school fairs began operating in Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag and regional centers of the country. Mobile sales counters offer a wide selection of office supplies and school supplies, allowing parents and students to prepare for the new school year. For the new 2024/2025 academic year, enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan have released classic models of school clothes. The assortment includes suits and ties for boys, green dresses and white aprons for girls, as well as tahya headdresses - a symbol of Turkmen national clothing.
6. The final national stage of two professional competitions among nurses and cooks of preschool institutions in the country was held on the basis of Ashgabat specialized kindergarten No. 127. In the nursing competition, the Grand Prix was awarded to Zubeyda Kurambayeva, a nurse at kindergarten-nursery No. 12 in the city of Ashgabat. In the chef competition, the Grand Prix was awarded to the cook of kindergarten-nursery No. 5 of the Gokdepe etrap, Ahal velayat, Altyn Jummiyeva. All competition participants were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Education, as well as valuable prizes from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.

All processes in the kitchen, from cooking to lighting the hall, are provided exclusively by solar energy. The basis of the kitchen equipment is a large parabolic antenna that collects and focuses the sun's rays. Thanks to this technology, the temperature on the surface of the stove reaches an impressive 400°C. At the moment, the restaurant operates only on weekdays from 11:30 to 14:00, when solar activity is highest. However, the owners do not stop there and plan to install a biogas system that will process organic waste from the restaurant into gas. This innovation will allow you to continue working in cloudy weather and after sunset.

1. Football club “Ahal” from Turkmenistan won a landslide victory over Turkish “Fethiespor” with a score of 3:1 in a friendly match held as part of the preparatory training camp in Kartepe. Team captain Elman Tagayev scored a double, and striker Dayanch Meredov scored another goal. This victory was the second for “Ahal” in a series of control matches at the Turkish training camp. Previously, the team beat the Saudi club “Al-Safa” with a score of 2:1. In the coming days, “Ahal” plans to hold two more friendly matches: on August 4 with the Saudi “Al-Ahdoud” and on August 7 with the Iranian “Gol Gohar”.
2. Turkmen mixed martial arts fighter Eziz Penjiyev is preparing for his first performance as part of the new Fight Nights project for young talents. The fight will take place on August 4. Penjiyev will meet with Tajikistan Nurali Jobirov. Penjiyev has already managed to make a name for himself in the professional arena.
