According to Billboard, spectators will be treated to a unique musical event at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris on July 26. Two world stars, Celine Dion and Lady Gaga, will combine their talents to perform Edith Piaf’s famous song “La Vie En Rose”, reports snob.ru.
Celine Dion's appearance on stage is especially noteworthy given her long absence from the public sphere. The singer has not performed for the past four years due to a number of circumstances, including the COVID-19 pandemic and a stiff muscle syndrome diagnosed in 2022, which has severely impacted her ability to sing and control her muscles.
Interestingly, rumors about Dion’s possible performance at the Olympics began to circulate after she was spotted at a hotel near the Champs-Elysees. Lady Gaga also stayed at the same hotel, which served as an additional reason for speculation.
